The system research is conducted and the concept of academic choral art in a socio-cultural continuum of Western region of Ukraine by Independence period by example of Volyn is justified. The variations of concepts of «sociocultural continuum», «author performing school», «Ukrainian choir school», definitions of music-performing archetypes in choral-conducting performance are filed. The invariant model of a chamber choir as a leading phenomenon of modern choral performance is justified. The sociological research in the process of Ukrainian choral art competition by Lesya Ukrayinka is conducted and the variant of management in the said action is offered.
