Essay

The object of research is the teachers’ professional value orientations. The work purpose: theoretically to prove and experimentally to check up the contents and conditions of diagnostics and correction of teachers’ professional value in institutions of post-graduate pedagogical education. The methods: theoretical - theoretical analysis, ordering, modeling; empirical - анкетирование, testing, interrogation, content-analysis, method of focuses-groups; methods of data processing - correlation, dispersion, factor, cluster analysis, computer package of the statistical programs. The scientific novelty: the author defines the content, criteria, indicators of development, principles and psychological mechanisms of diagnostics and correction of teachers’ professional value orientations; we have developed a theoretical model of diagnostics and correction of teachers’ professional value orientations; the forms and methods of its implementation in the process of post-graduate pedagogical education; defined organizational-methodical and psychological conditions of effective axiological teachers’ training. The practical value of research: developed and approved the program of correction and development of teachers’ professional value orientations in the system of post-graduate pedagogical education. Efficiency of the introduction – high. The sphere of the use: higher educational institutions, institutions of post-graduate pedagogical education.
