Nadopta A. Ukrainian ethnographic collections of Galicia’s museums in the late 19th century till the 30's of XX century in the context of ethnological researches

Object: Ukrainian ethnology in the late 19th century till the 30's of XX century. Objective: To analyze comprehensively the conceptual basis of the formation and functioning of the Ukrainian ethnographic collections in museums Galicia in the late 19th century till the 30's of XX century in the context of ethnology studies, to determine the place and role of Ukrainian ethnographic museology of Galicia for the establishment and development of Ukrainian ethnology. Methods: historical and chronological, retrospective, historical and comparative, systematic, structural analysis. Results: for the first time complex research of ethnographic aspect museums activities in Galicia in the late 19th century till the 30's of XX century in the context of ethnology studies is carried out, factors that significantly influenced on the formation and distribution of Ukrainian ethnographic collections in museums of Galicia in this period are identified, the comparative analysis of development trends in Ukrainian ethnographic museology of Galicia with museology in Europe at that time is made. Scope of application: during the writing of synthetic papers on Ukrainian ethnology, historiography, encyclopedias and reference books, manuals, the training of lectures courses and special courses in ethnology, ethnography, local studies, ethnographic, the building of expositions ethnographic and natural history museums.
