Essay

Research objects were immune modeling properties of cryopreserved lymphohemopoietic complex (LHPC) at experimental influenza infection in Balb/c mice. The aim was to investigate the character of changes in immune system, LHPC organs, lungs and blood of infected with grippe A virus mice after preliminary introduction of human cord blood cryopreserved leukoconcentrate (cHCBLC) or its components (plasma, nucleated cells (NCs) and cHCBLC). The methods were cryobiological, immunological, hematological, virusological, serological, morphological, the ones of parametric and non-parametric analysis for statistical processing of research results. For the first time it has been performed the study of possible mechanisms of forming the resistance in mice to grippe I virus after introduction of cHCBLC. There was studied the effect of cHCBLC and its components on morphofunctional state of LHPC organs and lugs, activity of the cells of macrophage-phagocyte systems (MPS), level of cytotoxins and production of antiviral antibodies in mice after preliminary application of cHCBLC or its components. It has been shown that application of non-fractionated cHCBLC provided the most manifested modulation of the response of immune system on the expansion of grippe virus, that emphasizes the complex effect of cHCBLC components. The found antiviral efficiency of cHCBLC stipulates the need in establishing human cord blood banks and development of human cord blood cryopreservation programs which provide the maximum integrity of the structure and functional properties of biomaterial.
