Essay

The thesis provides a theoretical generalization and a new solution to scientific problems by means of disclosing psychological and legal nature of offenses committed in the heat of passion. The given thesis substantiates the necessity of conducting forensic psychological examination in all cases when affective wrongful acts are committed by juveniles as well as emphasises the expediency of criminal responsibility being invoked from the age of 16 (sixteen) under Article 116 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
