Essay

The thesis is devoted to study the role of non-specific proteases, their inhibitors and lipid peroxidation in the pathogenesis of reperfusion injury complicated by blood loss. Research of lipid peroxidation of blood, proteinase-inhibitory system of serum, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, liver and kidney of experimental rats show the role of activation of lipid peroxidation and nonspecific proteases in the development of this pathology. Activation of proteolytic enzymes and lipid peroxidation was accompanied with the formation of significant morphological changes and can play a key role in the development of organopatology in reperfusion injury, complicated by blood loss. The important role of activation of proteolytic enzymes and peroxidation in the development of reperfusion injury, complicated by blood loss justify the combined use of protease inhibitor and antioxidant for pathogenetic correction of this pathology. Our research has shown that combined use of antioxidant and protease inhibitor contributes to the normalization of the protease-inhibitor and prooxidant-antioxidant systems and reduced the morphological changes in parenchymal organs.
