The object - psychological readiness of the child of preschool age for training at school; the goal - studying of psychological features of formation of a complex of valuable orientations of the senior preschool child which is a basis of a valuable-semantic component of psychological readiness of the child to training; the methods - theoretical: the analysis, synthesis and generalization of philosophical and psychological-pedagogical literature on a considered problem; empirical: survey, testing, expert estimation, supervision, conversation, psychological-pedagogical experiment; the methods of mathematical-statistical data processing; the novelty - for the first time it is systematized individual-psychological and social-psychological factors of formation of valuable orientations of the personality which falls on preschool years; for the first time a valuable-semantic component is entered into structure of psychological readiness of the child to school; the idea of valuable orientations of preschool children by definition of the content of this concept which is understood as leading model of activity which is shown in the conscious, selective relation of the child to objective reality is expanded, this model determining his activity in all spheres of vital activity; the idea of psychological readiness of children to school in two aspects (phenomenological and diagnostic) is expanded; the diagnostic procedures of research of valuable orientations and the semantic sphere of children of preschool age have further development by creation of a complex of methods for detection of psychological features of valuable orientations of preschool children, dominance and qualitative representation of dynamic semantic systems in the semantic sphere of the child; the means of psycho diagnostics of psychological readiness of the child to school are improved by development of an author's technique "Studying of valuable-semantic readiness for training"; the means of formation of psychological readiness for school are improved by creation of the program of development of valuable-semantic readiness of preschool children to training; the results consist in creation of a projective technique of diagnostics of valuable-semantic readiness for training and development of the program of development of valuable-semantic readiness of preschool children to training which can be used by psychologists and pedagogical employees of preschool educational institutions; the provisions and results of research can be used in the course of vocational training of students of pedagogical and psychological specialties, students of professional development; the area - psychology.
