Essay

Emotions play a very important role in everyday life of a person. As a matter of fact, emotions influence most of the cognitive processes of a human being. In other words, most of the time, we view the actual events and phenomena through the prism of emotions which makes our world view judgmental as opposed to the neutral scientific world view. Moreover, the culture we were brought-up in also contributes to our outlook. Therefore different cultures view emotions and reality differently and language is the instrument that helps us to understand the peculiar features.
