Stepanchuk V. Castles of Transcarpathia as tourist attractions

The subject of the type of the use of castles and castle systems in tourism is investigated in the dissertation. The idea of playing tourism is suggested. Its limits in relation to the ideas of gambling tourism, tourism animation, carnival and festival tourism are defined as venues animated action: costumed balls, jousting, etc. Investigated that European castles are increasingly involved as animated attractions and tourism board - as the venue of live action role-playing games. An opinion about the live playing games as the basis of playing tourism is expressed. Described the state of live action role-playing games in Europe, Russia and Ukraine. The type of the use of castles of Ukraine in tourism is defined. Ways to use castles of Ukraine in the game as tourism locations for live action role-playing games. The state of castles of Transcarpathia is characterized and references on their use as attractions of playing tourism are suggested. The possibility of integration of the tourist services of Ukraine, on the example of Transcarpathia, into the European tourist markets is also presented in the thesis. The preconditions of the development of international social and cultural relations of communicative nature are defined.
