Essay

The dissertation is devoted to research of cultural and historical processes in the North-Eastern Ukraine in the period of Neolith that attributable to the period from the middle VI for the first half of the III millennium BC. Here has been allocated three provinces: Dnipro-Desnyanska, Desnyansko-Seyminska and Posulsko-Vorsklinska. Consideration of cultural and historical processes allowed us to determine the main directions of cultural relations and orientation of the population of some provinces to the different cultural areas. For the Dnipro-Desnyanska province priority directions of influence were west, north (postsviderskaya, postarensburzkaya, vostochnopolesskaya, the Funnel Beaker cultures) and the northwest (tripolskaya culture). For Desnyansko-Seymynska province - north and northeast (llyalivskaya and desnyanskaya, lysohubivskaya, sredne-donskaya and ryazansko-dolhovskaya cultures). For Posulsko-Vorsklynskoyi province - north and south (sredne-donskaya, ryazansko-dolhovskaya, azovo-dnieprovskay, tripolskaya, srednestohovskya cultures).
