Essay

The issue of music integrated teaching of junior school children and pedagogical conditions of its providing are examined thoroughly. The issue is interpreted as a process of teacher's and students'cooperation, which foresees unity of aims and substantial and structural elements of music studying. It contributes to systematization and summarizing of musical knowledge, integrated abilities and skills formation and makes forming of entire outlook harmoniously developed character traits of personality possible. Some criterias, indexes and quality of knowledge received by pupils. Such components of integrated teaching of music as motivationally impulsive, substantially procedural and creatively resulting are observed. The process of functioning of motivationally impulsive component provides standard which indicates the level of junior school children need for art producing. It is presented by pupils' involvement and attitude to the process of music studying, the level of motivation to examine pieces of art and the level of students' aspiration to do art studying. An integrity of the system of knowledge and abilities is illustrated by a substantially procedural component which foresees special topics to be studied at the junior school. The standard, that is included in component, shows the level of pupils' ability to use learned skills and gained knowledge in different fields of action. There are some indices such as: an ability to accumulate musical skills to choose the main ideas, to be aware of different kinds of art and their connections and pupils' ability to use these skills practically (playing music, singing, drawing etc.). Pupils' ability to use knowledge practically defines the level of formation of creatively resulting component. This component is judged by experience, skills, abilities and independence in evaluating about pupils' own works. The methods of integrated teaching of music to junior school children and pedagogical terms of its ensuring are developed and experimentally checked.
