Essay

The thesis deals with the investigation of main and peripheral means of representation of the lingvocultural concept ДОРОГА / ROAD / WEG in two Slavic and two Germanic languages. The research is conducted on the basis of three sources of information: dictionary data, belles-lettres and free association experiment data. It is shown that there are much more universal, invariant characteristics of verbalizers in four languages than lingvospecific ones.
