Essay

The thesis deals with the problems of improving of future journalists' vocational training by means of formation of sociocultural competence. In our understanding socio-cultural competence of journalists - is their ability to actualize acquired in the process of training knowledge and skills (knowledge of the diversity of cultures, the ability to detect and single out cultural differences, to understand the differences between native and different cultures, to adjust their behavior) for intercultural communication during the solution of specific professional tasks. Intercultural communication is defined as process of exchange of views in situation of intercourse between different cultures.
