The dissertation is devoted to the problem of preparation of the future teachers of elementary school to the art-pedagogical interpretation of artworks. Pedagogical conditions of effective preparation of students to designated activity are defined, proved and checked experimentally up. Criteria and levels of readiness of the future specialists to the art-pedagogical interpretation of products of different art forms in the conditions of elementary school are found out.
