Essay

This dissertation reviews the contents of the international legal status of foreign military bases. It is underlined that the international legal status of the foreign military bases means their legal position as established by the norms and principles of the international law. Further, the legal definition of the term "foreign military base" and its classification are considered. The formation and development of the international legal regulation of relations on foreign military bases is analyzed. The possible ways of solving problems of Ukraine-Russia relations in this area are formulated.
