Essay

The thesis comprehensively explores the question of the international law protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict. Gradual development of the mentioned above institute is studied. Different theoretical approaches and perceptions of cultural property are exploring: cultural nationalism and cultural internationalism, property and cultural aspects of cultural property. Compensatory restitution is qualified as an adequate measure of international law responsibility. The unregulated procedure of this measure is defined as the main reason of widespread critics on its application.
