Essay

Scientific approaches to studying cognitive styles and the influence of basic cognitive-style characteristics on the success of simulator-based training are substantiated and summarized by the author in the research. Modern approaches to the investigation of cognitive-style characteristics are analyzed. It is established that various style types of the future ATC specialists differ significantly in the success rate of completion of professional tasks at simulator-based training. The differences become most evident while completing the task of navigation of aircrafts with a maximum intensity of air traffic and while dealing with emergencies
