Essay

The dissertation is devoted to analysis of the essence of metaphysics and ontology as autonomous phenomena philosophizing. The basic approach disclosuring of this theme is that the author describes ontological and metaphysical thinkings. The author defines the ontological thinking as a way of thinking that is guided by certain thought-structures, such as the structure of possible, identities, arche etc. Metaphysical thinking is defined as a personal way of thinking, that is, not thinking, which aims to understand a thing or problem, but thinking as a person's life, thinking that interprets sacred, and always it is mistaken. Metaphysical thinking rather a deed, that can make a person. To determine the relationship between metaphysical and ontological thinkings, the author introduces the hypothesis of correlation of philosophy and religion. Since religion is conditionally divided as paganism and Christianity, the ontology is defined as a reflection of what paganism makes clear, and metaphysics - as a reflection of what Christianity gives to understand. Accordingly, the relation between metaphysics and ontology is the same as between Christianity and paganism.
