Essay

The problem of social competence of technical colleges' students in the process of humanitarian training is analyzed. The main theoretical approaches to the problem of forming social competence of technical colleges' students in the process of humanitarian training are analyzed in this problem. As a result of research grounded conceptual framework and methodology of forming the social competence of the future specialists of a technical profile, defined pedagogical conditions of implementation framework for the formation of social competence of students and experimentally tested their teaching effectiveness. The study defined the concept of "social competence", its structure, criteria, indicators and levels of development of social competence of technical colleges' students. The technique of diagnostics of the formation of the level of social competence of future specialists is worked out and experimentally tested. In the work of the updated and more specific definition of the social competence of personality as a complicated personal education, define the content of the social competence of students of a technical profile. As a result of the analysis of the concepts of "competence", "social competence" it is found that the generally accepted characteristics of competence are: knowledge, skills and experience of their use in the process of activities; the psychic state of the future employee, that gives the opportunity to act independently and responsibly, to function as a professional activity toachieve results; personality potency man, his qualifications etc. Based on this, we define the concept of social competence of technical colleges' students as integrative characteristic of personality, which includes the value understanding of social reality, specific qualities, skills, readiness for self-determination and social responsibility for the results of professional activity. The structural-functional model of social competence of personality as a unity of personal, sociological and life-futurological components was worked out. Developed criteria and indicators of social competence of students of higher educational institutions of technical profile, on the basis of the analysis of the qualitative and quantitative indicators, we have identified three levels: low, medium, and high. The effectiveness of the structural-functional model of the formation of social competence of technical colleges' students in the process of humanitarian training is developed and experimentalyly verified. The features of the structural-functional model of the formation of social competence of technical colleges' students in the process of humanitarian training are active use of interactive methods in teaching of subjects of humanitarian, professional training, training for social competence, as well as encouraging students to self-education, directed on formation of the appropriate personal qualities and skills of socially competent conduct of their work, which involves two main directions: work with theoretical sources for obtaining new information in the semantic field of social competence, and its realization, as well as modeling the behavior of socially competent persons, by means of planned monitoring activities and in the course of the direct communication with them.
