The thesis examines the process of the future foreign languages teachers' professional competence formation by means of mediaeducation. The state of the problem under consideration is reviewed in the educational theory and practice, basic research terminology is specified. The scientific approaches to defining the given phenomenon's content are disclosed. The model of the professional competence acquiring by the future foreign fanguages' teachers is worked out; its efficiency is proved experimentally on the basis of implementing its fundamentals in the educational process using the author's course ,,Mediaeducational Technologies in the Professional Formation of the Future Foreign Languages' Teachers".
