Object - the pedagogical process of realization of methodology of teaching future journalists professionally oriented communication in English. Purpose - to theoretically justify, develop and experimentally verify the methodology of teaching future journalists professionally oriented communication in English. Methods - theoretical, empirical. Theoretical results and novelty - the modern methods of teaching future journalistsprofessionally oriented communication in English have been analysed; their weak and strong points have been higlighted. The essence of journalism genres and psychologically grounded sequence of their presentation to teach corresponding forms of speech have been characterized; the components of contents of future journalists' professionally oriented communication in English according to the genres under study have been substantiated; the algorithm of methodical actions as for teaching future journalistsprofessionally oriented communication in English which has its realization in corresponding system of exercises has been developed; the effectiveness of the suggested system of exercises has been verified and confirmed in the course of experimental teaching and evaluated according to the developed efficiency criteria. Practical results - experimental textbook "English for Journalists" has been worked out and implemented; a course of lectures in methodology of teaching future journalists professionally oriented communication in English has been developed. Efficiency of production is high. Branch - pedagogical, higher educational establishments.
