Object - adaptation of teenagers to training at the secondary school; goal - determination of features of influence of level of formation of intellectual operations on process of adaptation of teenagers to training at secondary school and ways of optimization of this process; methods - the theoretical (analysis, synthesis, generalization, abstraction, systematization, induction, deduction and comparisons of psychological data on a research subject); the empirical (supervision, conversation, method of an expert assessment, questioning, testing); mathematical and statistical methods of data processing; novelty - for the first time possibility of increase of adaptedness of teenagers to training at the secondary school by formation at them intellectual operations is proved; for the first time features of structure and types of psychological adaptation of teenagers upon transition from primary to secondary training are defined; means of research of features of psychological adaptation of teenagers to training at the secondary school are improved by studying of its dynamics with application of a complex of such indicators: success of training, behavior level at lessons and breaks, the general health, activity, educational motivation, a self-assessment, level of claims, the personal relation to school, educational activity, teachers and schoolmates, uneasiness level; ideas of features of intellectual operations at teenage age are expanded by studying of dynamics of their development at the beginning of training at the secondary school; ideas of opportunities of increase of level of adaptedness of teenagers to training at the secondary school are expanded by use of system of means of formation of intellectual operations; the question of interrelation of intellectual development and psychological adaptation of the personality to new conditions of activity gained further development; results - the program directed on formation of intellectual operations of school students for the purpose of increase of level of their adaptedness to training at the secondary school; the correctional developing program can be used in teaching and educational process of secondary school, and also by preparation of practical seminars for teachers, school psychologists and other experts who work with teenagers; area - psychology.
