Rybak Y. Cluster development model of Nordic countries

The thesis is devoted to a comprehensive study of theoretical and practical aspects of cluster model and tools and mechanism of their regulations, the research of competitive cluster models of Nordic countries in the rising global competition environment. The mechanism of formation of cluster model in USA, EU, Asia has been investigated. Cluster development models of Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway are considered and systematized. The impact of cluster models of Nordic countries on improvement of their competitiveness has been proved. Main methodology fundamentals for evaluation of a cluster's competitiveness and impact have been considered and offered the most effective ones. The author evaluated the effectiveness of cluster policy in EU, estimated the state's role in the formation and functioning of cluster development model. Proposals of cluster development model for improvement of competitiveness in Ukraine are developed.
