Essay

The research paper deals with the issue of the formation of information-analytical skills. The basic concepts "pedagogical prerequisites" and "professional training of prospective teachers" "information-analytical activity" "information", "analysis", "information-analytical skills" are specified in the thesis; the author's view of the typology of prospective foreign language teachers' information-analytical skills is presented. It was established that the effective formation of prospective foreign language teachers' information-analytical skills in the process of professional training is provided by a complex of the pedagogical prerequisites, such as psychological-pedagogical, methodological, organizational and informational ones. The thesis contains the developed model of the formation of prospective foreign language teachers' information-analytical skills in the process of professional training. It is proved that the incorporation of the model in the educational process of higher educational institutions and the establishing of the pedagogical prerequisites promoted the increase in the level of prospective foreign language teachers' information-analytical skills development.
