In the work we study the problem of identifying effective pedagogical conditions of extracurricular educational activities of students of medical colleges, such as: formation of social and positive motivation for organizing of the extracurricular educational activities of students of medical colleges; the optimal combination of group and individual forms of extracurricular educational activities; implementation of an integrative approach to extracurricular educational activities; providing creative level of cognitive activity of future health care professionals during training. The thesis essence of activity, educational activity, and extracurricular educational activity of students of medical colleges is clarified. The author model of organization of extracurricular activities of students of medical colleges is worked out and theoretically substantiated. Its structural and functional components, criteria, indicators and efficiency levels of organization of extracurricular educational activities of students of medical colleges are definied. It is proved that the model implementation on the basis of its stage-by-stage realisation contributes to positive changes in efficiency levels of organization of extracurricular educational activities of students of medical colleges. Guidelines directed on improving the efficiency of organization of extracurricular educational activities of students of medical colleges are prepared.
