Essay

Dissertation is devoted to complex research of scientifik studіos of the prominent ukrainian scientist-hygienist, professor V.J. Pіdgajetsky in 1914–1929. Periodization of creative way of scientist was given in the work at first time, conditions and key (words) faktors of forming of his scientifik worldvien were exposed, scientifik and organizational study of V.J. Pіdgajetskogo in Kiev higher educational establishments and in the research institution of WUAN is analyzed, pedagogical activity of professor was investigated and was found out the basic directions of his scientific research in the branch of professional hygiene, physical culture and eugenics. The reconstruction of holistic picture of the professor V.J. Pіdgajetsky’s activity gave an opportunity to make a conclusion about his ponderable contribution to the development of home and world hygienical science.
