Essay

The scientific research is devoted to the problem of the formation of knowledge on word-construction with the junior schoolchildren suffering from heavy speech disturbances. The analysis of the theoretical-methodical approaches to the problem of forming the grammatical skills is carried out in the research work. The indices, criteria and levels of the formation of the grammatical skills of the 2nd- 4th -graders with the diagnosis "Heavy Speech Disturbance" are defined in the thesis. According to the results of the first ascertaining stage of the experiment the arising difficulties were defined, the types of the most frequently met mistakes were systematized alongside with the peculiarities of assimilating the knowledge from the grammar section "Word Construction" by the junior schoolchildren. According to the results of the second stage of the ascertaining experiment the state of the formation of oral speech and mental operations with the morphemes which provide for the conscious acquisition of the knowledge in grammar with the junior school pupils was defined too. The methods of the formation of knowledge on word construction with the junior school children suffering from heavy speech disturbances are worked out, theoretically substantiated and checked up experimentally in the research; the structure of the speech activities and psychological mechanisms of the speech disturbances are also taken into consideration.
