Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of overcoming and correcting of spelling mistakes of 5-6 grades students who study in special secondary schools for children with severe speech disorders (SSD). In dissertation the linguistic psycho-pedagogical model of orthographic skills is developed, the method of structural components of the designated skills diagnostics is grounded and developed on its basis. The typology of spelling mistakes at students with SSD of 5-6 grades, which occur in the written production, is worked out, and the psychological mechanisms of such mistakes are described. In accordance with the structural components of orthographical skills and described psychological mechanisms, adequately to the structure of defect, preventive training methods, which are to overcome difficulties in learning the morphological principle of writing, are developed.
