Volodarets-Urbanovych Y. The pottery of the 7th - the 1st half of the 9th centuries in Ukraine's forest-steppe zone.

The dissertation is devoted to the characteristic of the pottery centers of the 7th - the 1st half of the 9th c. The historiography overview was made. Complex research of the problem which deals with pottery distribution of the centres on the basis of the maximum numbers of the archaeological sources was carried out. The archaeology sites with Kansterka, Pastyrske, Volyntseve pottery types were mappable and cataloged. Geographical concentration of those sites, its peculiarities and chronological of the pottery existence were defined. The place and role of the pottery centers in the trade exchange relations and social-economical development of the inhabitants that inferred from historiographic and archaeological sources systematization were determined.
