Boloban M. Calendar and time Ukrainian lexicon in cognitive interpretation

The interpretation of linguistic and extralinguistic data of the calendar and time in Ukrainian lexicon is a central problem of the research. The lexical evidence of time cognition in Ukrainian is divided into Proto-Indo-European (and more old, i. e. Nostratic and even monogenetic), Proto-Slavic and only Ukrainian strata (excluding the loanwords, especially from Greek and Latin). The mythological time as axiological, cyclic, fatalized, flowing like water reflects in etymology. Ukrainian folk and literary poetry cosists the concept of time as an instument of personal mental organization, a sacral way to harmonizing of the human and the Universe.
