Thesis is devoted to the study of kidney function and mechanisms of lesions in patients with AIDS, depending on the stage of HIV infection based on clinical, functional, laboratory and morphological studies. Established that renal dysfunction associated with the development of HIV-associated nephropathy occurs in most patients with AIDS (82%). Increased blood creatinine was recorded in 32.77% of patients. Decreased GFR less than 60 ml/min occurred in 57.14% of patients with hypercreatininemia. In most patients with AIDS emerging chronic renal disease. Thus, the longer ill patients, the higher the level of azotemia and lower GFR levels and as a result, most developing chronic renal failure, with its development occurs in an average 7.94±0.92 years. When functional and morphological study of the kidneys revealed that their lesions in HIV infection is nonspecific and initially is to defeat the tubular nephron (proximal tubule), and abnormalities of the glomeruli are secondary in nature and then decrease in the number of functioning nephrons.
