Thesis contains research on concept issues of modern institutional theories of economic integration and methodological fundamentals of analysis of the institutions of regional financial integration. Determination of motivations provided and main criteria, which have impact on transformation of institutional structure of the modern international financial system, character, and measurement of their impact and interaction mechanism, arranged. External economic factors that determine development of institutions of regional financial integration in the EU and which are related to modern principals, specifications and internal reasoning of the development, as well as to modification of role, formalistic authorities, measure of influence and order of their action were analyzed. Main features and actual tendencies of the development of institutions of financial integration in the EU's banking sector, mechanism and instruments of the EU stock market's institutions adjustment in the conditions of monetary and financial convergence revealed. Mechanism for evaluation of institutional preconditions and modern priorities for restructuring of the EU's insurance markets, tendencies and major trends of their development elaborated.
