Essay

There is represented the system of development of primary school pupils' figurative speech at the lessons of dramatic reading on the basis of figurative analysis of the text. It combines reading and speech activities of the pupils of 2 - 4 classes, introduction of the basic information about the imagery, figures of speech, epithet, comparison, metaphors, personification to the primary school pupils and formation of their skills to find these figures of speech in the literary text, to determine their type, to explain their meaning, to assess their role in the context and to use them in their own oral and written speech.
