Ra'ad A. Development of the Kingdom of Jordan as a small open economy in the world economy

The role of resource factor in the development of a small open economy of Jordan is explored and Jordan's place in the world economic system is characterized. The specific features of the macroeconomic policy of the Kingdom of Jordan in the context of openness of the national economy are discovered. Investigated the causal relationship between economic growth of the country, the industrial structure of the economy and the balance of payments accounts of the Kingdom of Jordan. Macroeconomic contradictions in forming the balance of payments of the country are defined. Detected the increasing dependence of the economy of Jordan on external financing in the form of remittances, FDI and international assistance.
