The thesis is devoted to the hygienic evaluation of e-learning tools (ELT) and media in the modern education system. Questioning of 11-14 years students proved the prevalence of established ELT and multimedia, and appreciated it as a mandatory component of the daily lives of students. The increase of information and visual stress, which leads to the gradual formation of donozological states that illustrate abnormal function, is detected. The hygienic analysis of ELT and educational sites of the Internet is done. Circuit hygienic evaluation of e-learning resources is grounded and the key indicators to be monitored are allocated. The basic design flaws that contribute to the gradual formation of donozological disorders of the visual sensory system and mental performance are analyzed. Physiological and hygienic analysis of mental capacity in the process of work with ELT showed that mental performance indicators characterizing the gradual formation of fatigue and visual disability status reflecting fatique formation under the influence of ELT. These data suggest the use of ELT and multimedia in the educational process in secondary school if hygiene recommendations are subjected. The principles of hygienic examination of ELT for kids as contemporary visual regulation burden, that work with multimedia creates, are based on these researches. The method of hygienic evaluation of multimedia is created, which is based on the use of qualimetric approaches.
