Bondar Y. Complex assessment of geological monuments on example of objects of the Kryvyi Rih region

The thesis is devoted to complex assessment of geological monuments of the Kryvyi Rih and determination of their value for the purposes of preservation, protection and rational using. The evaluation criteria, which takes into account the fundamental and applied significance of geological monuments, are firstly developed. The method of complex assessment, which is based on the approach of geological and economic evaluation are determined. The main approaches are cost-based, comparative and profitable. The method of value determining for geological monuments are developed. The results of the evaluation of geological monuments and positive values indicate the sufficient justification and perspectivity of their using for the purpose of research and learning activities and geological tourism. Comparison of evaluation criteria for stratigraphic, petrographic and geomorphological types of geological monuments of the Kryvyi Rih and Volyn - Podolia regions are implemented.
