Chernysh M. The Maintaining of the Cultural Diversity in the Globalization Era (mid XX - beginning of XXI century.).

Actualized by modern globalization processes, the problem of maintaining of the diversity in cultural transformations at the end of XX - beginning of XXI century have been investigated in the thesis. The theoretical generalization and systematization of approaches and practices of maintaining of the cultural diversity in Europe, North America and non-Western countries have been carried out, and their correlation with the value cores of particular cultures has been revealed. New approaches to understanding the specifics of the national culture and its differences from the local cultures - ethnic, group, etc. have been introduced. It has been shown that under the influence of globalization processes the preservation of the authentic culture is ensured by its sign and symbolic code's rigidity. It has been proved that the efficiency of maintaining of the cultural diversity is correlated with respect for the individual and human rights. The obtained results are substantially transforming the idea of the possibility of maintaining, revival and development of the national culture, in particular, Ukrainian one; they enable the adjustment of the state policy in the cultural sphere towards its optimization, enhancement of efficiency and compliance with basic values of the Ukrainian culture and processes of its transformation in a globalized world.
