Ianovska I. The integration securities regulation in European Union Law

The thesis characterizes the process of creation of single securities market of the European Union, principles of normative legal regulation of securities market’s participants, infrastructure, financial instruments, control and supervisory authorities, etc., as well as specifics of cross-border functioning of securities market within EU and in relation to the third countries. The legal framework of integration processes running at the securities markets worldwide and correspondence between legal order of the European Union and the international legal order in this area are determined. There were identified the core problems in formation of integrated securities market of EU, as well as the method which has been successfully applied by Member-States for integration of capital market and accomplishment of the final of four freedoms of the EU internal market. Special attention is paid to the peculiarities of compliance with the rules of free competition at the securities market as a basis for construction of the EU single market, as well as to the legal instruments which ensure the liquidity of transnational securities settlements. It were defined the methods for harmonizing the domestic law of Ukraine in the field of securities markets with the EU law as a part of the international legal system.
