Object of research - technology of machining of the antenna domes made of technical cetalss. The aim is to increase the efficiency of machining of the antenna domes made of cetalss due to processing technology upgrading and the substantiation of its rational, from the point of view of providing the dynamic stability of the grinding process, conditions – processing sequence, grinding modes and schemes, cutting tool characteristics. Theoretical studies were carried out on the basis of the provisions of: engineering technology, cutting theories, brittle fracture of solids and defect forming; methods of mathematical modeling, process accuracy and quality parameters of products. Experiments were conducted using mathematical and physical modeling. Results of the experimental studies were analyzed by methods of mathematical statistics. The theoretical results were used to develop the theory of grinding technology of antenna domes - articles of a complicated space form.The practical results were used to develop the rational technological machining of antenna domes. The results of the study are introduced at the «Kvarsit» State Scientific Production Enterprise in Konstantinovka. The sphere of application is mechanical engineering.
