Ruda M. Monitoring of mycotoxins in fodder and experimental justification of domestic sorbent design.

The dissertation is devoted to in vitro study of detoxification properties of drugs based on sorbents and feed additives regarding to mycotoxins and culture fluid of fungi which produce of mycotoxins, as well as the development of a new food additive (sorbent 'Vitakorm') for use for prevent of animal mycotoxicoses. According to the goals and objectives in the dissertation work: the degree of feed's damage by micromycetes has been determined; the monitoring of mycotoxicoses in some regions of Ukraine has been conducted; a rapid method for determining of sorbing activity of prophylactic drug of animal mycotoxicoses has been developed; a new way to prevent of mycotoxicoses of animals and birds (particularly T 2 toxicoses as more resistant to the action of existing drugs) has been theoretically and experimentally confirmed.
