Chumaeva Y. Fire-rescuers' individual-typological characteristics as a factor in their psychological rehabilitation

Object of research: individual-typological features of firemen-rescuers.Subject of study: indicators of higher nervous activity type (HNA), individual-typological features of personality and dynamics of the psychological status of firemen-rescuers during the rehabilitation period.The following methods are used in the process of our research: theoretical: analysis, synthesis, generalization, classification and systematization of studies on individual-typological features of the personality and their influence on the process of psychological rehabilitation; empirical: psychodiagnostic method and observation. Using an automated computer program "MORTEST" (option "SPAS") made it possible to monitor indicators of such HNA functions as random access memory (RAM), the response to a moving object (RMO), the mobility of nervous processes (MNP). Statistical processing of research materials was carried out by methods of variation statistics, cluster, correlation and discriminating analysis using the computer program SPSS 18 for Windows applications and Microsoft ® Office Excel. Interpretation of the results was carried out using quantitative comparative statistical methods followed by qualitative analysis and generalization of the results.Scientific novelty of the results is:- the program of firemen-rescuers' psychological rehabilitation was worked out and scientifically grounded; - the rate of fatigue was suggested, taking into account the errors increase in determining differentiated reaction in a situation of rising speed signaling; it also allows to determine the possibilities of the tested to perform complex analytic-synthetic activity under time pressure and evaluate performance decreasing while modeling choice reaction; - professional peculiarities of the dynamics of the psychological status of firemen-rescuers at the psychological rehabilitation period are defined; the advantages of age influence on the psychological rehabilitation efficiency are revealed; - the significant influence level of basic typological peculiarities on emotional state is defined as well as on its dynamic direction during firemen-rescuers' psychological rehabilitation; - the correlation between individual-typological personality features and psychological rehabilitation is developed; - theoretical and experimental approaches to the problem of psychological rehabilitation taking into account individual-typological personality features are improved. The practical significance of the results. The complex system of medical and psychological rehabilitation (MPR) is improved, which allows to define the rehabilitants' psychological status viewing functional levels, stages of professional stress pressure, psychological and psycho-physiological conditions.Scope institutions of higher education, psychological services.
