Object - development of the future teacher's professional thinking; objective - determination of the psychological constitution and development options of the future humanitarian teacher's professional thinking within the professional training in the higher pedagogical institution; methods - theoretical analysis, systematization and generalization of the psychological data related to the research problem, psycho-pedagogical experiment in the form of a stated, forming and control research, mathematical statistics methods; novelty - the 1st determination of distinctions in the professional thinking development dynamics of the future teachers of humanitarian and physic-mathematical profiles with account of mental agility, linguistic intuition and thinking reflexivity factors; extension of the notion of peculiarities of the teachers professional thinking formation by definition of its structure changes in the process of the future humanitarian teachers' professional training; further development of the humanitarian teachers' professional thinking characteristics by confirmation of feasibility of involving into its content a general intelligence, ability to establish associative relations, artistically figurative and conceptual thinking, verbal creativity, thinking purpose, skill to understand and operate on the text figurative meaning, estimate differentiation and purpose, thinking reflexivity, verbal processes excellence; improvement of the development means of the future humanitarian teachers' professional thinking by creating a program within which the problems of the textual skills development level increase, verbal creativity and thinking reflexivity can be solved; results - the developed and tested program oriented to assistance in development of the future humanitarian teachers' professional thinking may be used in practice of the professional training of students of the higher pedagogical educational establishments, the research results may be applied in the course of the psychologists' professional training and professional level increase; sphere - psychology.
