The thesis investigated the problem of the formation of stochastic representations at high school students in math classes in social-humanitarian work. The theoretical base for the study of stochastic ideas that the students in the classes of social- humanitarian work. The basic principles of psychology, on the general laws of formation of concepts. Proceeding from the interests and characteristics of students' cognitive activity humanities classes, highlighted guidelines for the organization of work with them. Identified specific actions subject students in the initial stages of the stochastic representations. Identified and experimentally verified status of the problem of formation of methodological support stochastic representations at senior pupils social- humanitarian at the present stage. The pedagogical conditions improve efficiency methodological support the implementation of the stochastic line in high school social - humanitarian work. Effectiveness of the developed method is confirmed by its introduction in the educational process and the positive results of the pedagogical experiment.
