Studied international political aspects of Ukrainian-Polish border. Allocated and analyzed a number of natural, technical, social, economic, political and other obstacles to the functional development of Ukrainian-Polish border. It was shown the value of cross-border cooperation to enhance the function of the contact boundary. Developed and proved a tough political, economic rigid, symmetrical, asymmetrical, and selective simplified model of open frontiers.
