Lapchuk V. Specific features of Ukrainian police officers' psychological preparedness to ensure public security during the mass events

Thesis is dedicated to the theoretical and empirical research of psychological preparedness of the Ukrainian police officers to ensure public security during the mass sports events. Modern theoretical approaches to the study of the problem of a person's psychological preparedness to perform professional activities together with the results of the surveys on the police officers' psychological preparedness to ensure public security were analyzed, specific features of the mass sport events as the conditions in which official duties of the police officers are performed and the specifics of the police officers activity in these circumstances were determined. Personality background for forming police officers' psychological preparedness and unpreparedness to ensure public security during the mass sports events was detected.
