The dissertation is devoted to the study of the components and typical peculiarities of the functionally role characteristics of a psychologist's personality. The work includes theoretical justification, methodical principles and results of the empirical research in the course of which a factor structure of the conative and affective spheres, types of the functionally role structure of a psychologist's personality and their content characteristics have been defined. The components of the functionally role space of a psychologist's personality have been outlined (consultative, facilitative, therapeutic, scientific-pedagogical) which have provided the basis for the author's questionnaire "The role structure of a psychologist's personality". The results of the conducted theoretical analysis and empirical research have allowed to construct a model of the functionally role characteristics of a psychologist's personality. A program of development of the functionally role structure of a psychologist's personality has been worked out the effectiveness of which has been proved experimentally.
