Essay

The thesis is a systematic scientific historical research, where on the basis of analysis a set of representative sources, predominantly of primary origin, and modern methodological principles using scientific developments of N.N. Klepinin summarized are peculiarities of his activities as soil scientist, geologist, regional ethnographer, pedagogue, organizer of agricultural experimentation in the Crimea. The role of N.N. Klepinin in the development and formation of morphological and genetic soil science on the Crimean peninsula and in the current Zaporozhye and Kherson regions is studied, which was aimed to study the physical and chemical properties of soils, of its bonitation and mapping development within the designated area. The work of scientist in the field of geology is highlighted which characterized by researches of different types of rocks, karstification process and its consequences, the study of deposits of the Tertiary and Quaternary periods, the history of formation of the peninsula. In analysis the personal contribution of professor N.N. Klepinin field the development of agricultural research in the Crimea is included. In particular, special attention is paid to the work of scientist in conducting of sectoral conventions, conferences, meetings and symposia concerning organization of the Crimean Regional Experimental Station, which consist in numerous appeals to state agencies and colleagues, activities for study agricultural technology field crops cultivation and his guidance research works about zootechny, viticulture. It is studied educational and pedagogical activities and regional studies of N.N. Klepinin in defined territorial boundaries.
