Essay

The objective of the research is to found and develop the methods of implementing the continuity while forming the primary and basic school pupils' cognitive interest to physics. The object of study is the process of formation and development of primary and basic school pupils' cognitive interest to the knowledge in the sphere of physics. The subject of research is the continuity in forming the primary and basic school pupils' cognitive interest to physical knowledge. In the study a complex of theoretical, empiric and statistical methods have been used. The relevance of the problem of implementing the continuity while forming primary and basic school pupils' cognitive interest to physics has been justified. The methods suggested are based on the contents of the material for the course of physics in basic school, presented by current programs and on the complex implementation of pupils' individual, learning and cognitive activities combined with Information and Communication technologies and relevant educational and methodological provision. The main components of the methods of teaching that have been created are the implementation of different kinds of pupils' learning and cognitive activities while teaching physics, the methods of implementing the continuity while forming the primary and basic school pupils' cognitive interest to physics, methodological provision of learning activities. The effectiveness of the given methods of teaching concerning the improvement of pupils' learning and cognitive interests to physics has been proved. A statistically valid correlation among the interests mentioned has also been demonstrated. The results of the research have been implemented in teaching process.
