Antonenko A. Choral Culture of Zaporizhia Region in the 20th - Beginning of the 21st Centuries in Aspects of Regional studies of Music.

The thesis reveals historical and general aesthetic processes of choral culture of Zaporizhia region in the 20th - beginning of the 21st centuries. Discovered historical origins of choral culture of the region. The principal directions, forms, tendencies, and evolutionary processes of Zaporizhia choral culture of the Soviet period of Ukraine's independence have been analyzed. The information has been generalized about professional, amateur, educational and church choirs, has analyzed the creativity, performing opportunities, repertory of the brightest of them. The thesis has also deals with the creative work of the prominent representatives of choral culture of the region - conductors, cantors, educators and composers. Unknown and insufficiently explored archive materials, documents are introduced to the scientific usage.
