Prokhorova O. Preparing of master students of teaching universities to research activity

The work is devoted to the solution of training master students of teaching universities to research activity. Theoretically predicted and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions, to ensure the effectiveness of the research. In this paper we define competence of master students of teaching universities to research activity. The theoretical foundations of the research were analyzed. Identified three interrelated and interdependent components that ensure the formation of scientific research Master's competence of pedagogical universities: motivational and evaluative, analytical and activity, organizational creativity. The pedagogical conditions of Master's research training: 1) creation of the sustained motivation to implement the research; 2) activation of the independence of undergraduates in the implementation of research and development and strategies of finding methods to obtain results; 3) involvement of future Masters of pedagogical universities to use new information technologies in research activity. Developed and tested experimental model of Master's competence training to research activities, the structure of which consists of a goal, components, criteria for research competence, pedagogical conditions, levels of scientific research competence, forms of organization and results. The module "Information technologies in research activities" was created in addition to the courses "Computer technologies in science and education" and "Information Technology", and included the use of various forms and methods of intense learning and cognitive activity and become familiar with such modern information technologies as Google Apps informational system and its applying in research and professional activities.
